By now, (you’ve had two weeks) you should know what zone you live in and when to start planting what, based on your climate. But now we’re going to dive a little deeper. Before we talk about raised beds, I thought I would start with the Lettuce Grow.

I actually love my Lettuce Grow. If you’ve never heard of it, it’s a hydroponic garden system that contains a pump with a timer and waters itself. The maintenance is quite simple… you only have to add nutrients and water to the large reservoir on a weekly basis and check the pH balance of the water inside to adjust it. It’s pretty much foolproof and allows you to believe you have a green thumb.

This is the perfect garden system for those that live in small apartments or with limited yard space. In fact, you can place it on a dolly to move it around and if sunlight is limited or you want to place it inside your house, you can purchase grow lights for it.

Just like with everything else, there are pros and cons to the Lettuce Grow. So I’ll be sharing those on the blog when it launches in June and I’ll let you be the judge of it.
